Management Profile
M.M Consultants was started by Arun Ambar with a vision to fill the knowledge gap between customers and financial institutions in the area of Trade and Structured Finance.
Arun is an accomplished professional in the area of Global Trade Finance Operations, Structured Finance and Foreign Exchange with a cross-cultural experience spanning over 27 years.
Arun started his career with an NBFC in the field of Foreign Exchange Advisory Services, and moved on to work with one of the largest private sector Indian Banks as Deputy Manager – Trade Finance. Having acquired hands-on knowledge of the Trade Finance business, he then moved on to join one of the top three global trading companies in the world as Head of Trade Operations. It was here that he developed a deep insight into the business of Trade & Structured Finance. He went on to acquire an in-depth understanding of the compliance & regulatory requirements and became an expert in designing and developing Structured Trade Product Solutions. Arun has travelled across several countries and has possessed valuable experience of working across the geographies and cultures of various countries.
He then briefly worked with a private fund as Managing Director and started its business operations for India geography.
Arun now works as an independent consultant in the area of Trade Finance & Risk Management, Structured Products and Trade Credit Insurance. He also provides expert services of Loss Adjuster and fraud detection for credit insurance companies, banks and financial institutions.
